Where are you located?

We are proud to be located inside Urban Zen Yoga and Movement studio!

Where do I park? 

There is plenty of street parking around Urban Zen.

What should I wear/ bring? 

You will be asked to dress down where necessary for effective assessment and treatment. Please wear appropriate under wear and/or bring shorts and a strap top for more modesty. Most people prefer this option.

If you have any concerns about this please get in touch!

​You will be able to change here at the clinic. 

Please bring a list of any medications you are taking and any relevant medical reports regarding your health.

What do I do when I arrive? 

On arrival, please make yourself comfortable in the waiting area until you are greeted and brought into the therapy room.

If you need to access the toilet, please sent us a WhatsApp message to let you through as the door will be locked for safety.

What if I am late or I cannot make it? 

Please let us know if you are running late or cannot make it!

If you are more than 15 minutes late and have not gotten in touch to say you are on your way, your appointment will be automatically cancelled and deposit surrendered. If you are running late and let us know you still wish to attend, we will do as much as we can with the time remaining. However, your appointment will not run over and the full payment will be charged. 

If you need to cancel your appointment, you can do so via your booking confirmation email.

What happens in my appointment?

Depending on what service you have chosen, the flow of your appointment will vary. Please see each service for more information!

Every new patient must have an initial case history taken at their first appointment to maintain safety.

I'm pregnant...can I still attend? 

We welcome you in all stages of your pregnancy and recovery. Osteopaths are medically trained, and therefore we are happy to treat you from your first trimester, immediately after birth, and beyond. There may be some limitations in the first trimester and within 6 weeks after birth, so get in touch if you have any questions!

Can I bring my children or baby? 

You are very welcome to bring your child/ baby(s), however we kindly as that you consider two things. 

1) There is a yoga studio attached to the clinic and we mustn't disrupt them with too much playful noise.

2) Caring for your children or baby make take up some of your appointment time, and we will not be able to run over.

I'm not sure about some of the techniques used... can I opt out? 

Our treatments include a wide range of techniques including dry-needling, clicks, and taping! We are happy to educate you on any of these in more detail so you can make an informed choice. You are always welcome to pass on techniques you do not feel comfortable with.

Do you have other availability? 

Yes! Brogan also works at Gower Health Clinic in Bishopston if you are unable to find a time that suits you on our booking page.

What is your deposit policy? 

Please note your deposit is not refundable, or transferable to another appointment, within 7 days of the appointment. This applies to extenuating circumstances. Our small business will make allowances where possible.

I've cancelled within the allowed time... so where is my deposit? 

If your cancelation has occurred outside of 7 days, it exists as credit ready to be applied to your next appointment balance. If you would like this refunded to you or applied as a deposit, please get in touch as this will not happen automatically.  

Annoying.. we know! Unfortunately this is just a limitation of the technology we use as a small business, but we will sort this quickly for you if you reach out.
